Unfortunately, the Urban Bivouac Paris Hotel does not have a swimming pool. However, we do have a few options nearby.
A hotel with a swimming pool in Paris?
Are you looking for a hotel room with the option to swim? Essentially, you want to find a hotel with a swimming pool in Paris. Let us be honest upfront, the Urban Bivouac Hotel does not have a pool. Hotels in Paris offering this amenity are relatively rare and are often in a completely different price range. However, we make up for it with our essential oil showers! Joking aside, while we cannot offer you a swimming pool at the hotel, we do have five options nearby. Let's take a closer look.
Swimming pools near the Urban Bivouac Hotel
First of all, please note that our front desk staff is fully available to provide you with this information during your stay, as well as to offer advice or arrange transportation for you.
The Joséphine Baker Swimming Pool
We have dedicated an article to it; the Joséphine Baker Swimming Pool is a floating pool located on the Seine at Quai Mauriac. The pool is open daily, with varying hours: Monday from 7 am to 9 pm (closed at midday), Tuesday and Thursday from 1 pm to 9 pm, Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 8:30 am and then from 1 pm to 9 pm, Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm. In summer, it remains open until 11 pm.
It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the hotel, less than 10 minutes by bike or scooter, and only 5 minutes by bus (the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, as is the case for all the other pools mentioned in this article).
Butte aux Cailles Swimming Pool
This is another exceptional swimming pool in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The Butte aux Cailles Swimming Pool, located at 5 Rue Verlaine, opened in 1924! And wait, it has another unique feature: it is heated by servers from a start-up company installed in its basement. It has three pools and a Nordic bath. The Butte aux Cailles neighborhood is about a 15-minute walk from our hotel, and between 5 and 10 minutes with other transportation options. The pool is open every day from 7 to 8:30 am, during midday, and in the evening.
Château des Rentiers Swimming Pool
This pool is likely the closest to our hotel, just a few minutes away regardless of your mode of transport, even on foot. It is located on Rue du Château des Rentiers and features a beautiful pool measuring 25m by 12.5m. Its hours are somewhat specific as it likely hosts club swimmers, but it is generally open in the mornings from 7 to 8:30 am, except on Monday (only from 12 pm to 1:45 pm) and Sunday (8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 6 pm). On Saturdays, it is open from 7 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 6 pm. On Tuesday and Thursday, an additional slot is available from 12 pm to 1:45 pm; on Wednesday, it is open from 12 pm to 6 pm, but it can be busier.
Dunois Swimming Pool
A little further away, you will find the Dunois Swimming Pool, located at 70 Rue Dunois. While primarily used by a swimming club, it still offers some time slots for the public. We will inform you of its reopening, as it is currently closed for renovations until the end of March 2022.
The last pool near the hotel is CDN13 Natation, but it is a club and does not offer public time slots. Nevertheless, as you have seen, there are three beautiful pools in close proximity to our establishment, two of which are among the most stunning pools in Paris. I assure you that, in many ways, this is better than a hotel pool!
Finding a hotel with a pool
Before highlighting the pools near us, we understand that some visitors may have landed on this page looking for something very specific. Let us dedicate a few lines to Parisian hotels that meet these criteria.
If you are specifically searching in the 13th arrondissement, only the Best Western Premier Amiral Hotel fits your request. It is a 4-star establishment located in the Butte aux Cailles neighborhood.
You will find more options in other districts, with the most iconic being a monument in every sense. Indeed, the 5-star MGallery Molitor Hotel reopened in 2014 in the historic Molitor Pool, a symbol of 1930s Paris. As you can imagine, most 5-star establishments in the capital feature a pool! Around fifty 4-star hotels also offer a pool. The Lantern Hotel in the 5th arrondissement is well-regarded, as is the pool at the Brach Hotel in the 16th arrondissement.
As mentioned earlier, the Urban Bivouac Hotel does not have a pool, although we would love to meet this requirement for our clients. However, many of our guests take advantage of the nearby facilities; whether by bus, metro, bike, walking, or taxi. Additionally, the neighborhood offers several fitness centers, as well as opportunities for spa treatments. Now, let us review these pools close to our hotel.
